Nobody handed them the words to cross it.
Right now, someone in Sweden is building something brilliant and putting it on GitHub, free, for anyone on earth to use. A creator sitting here could grow with that exact tool. They never will. Not for lack of talent, but because no one gave them the vocabulary to find it, run it, and bend it to their work. I’m not here to build your tools for you. I’m here to hand you the words, so you teach yourself, about 10x faster than guessing in the dark.
Give a creator the words, and they cross the bridge on their own.
The point of all this
Every tool in the Garage earns its keep the same way: you build it once, and it keeps working. It answers the same question a thousand times, reaches people you have never met, and never asks for overtime. That is leverage. It used to belong to people with dev teams and funding. AI just handed it to anyone who can write a clear sentence.
Give me a lever long enough and a place to stand, and I will move the world.

You are my patient coding teacher. I am a creative person with zero coding experience. Build me a tiny web app as a single index.html file, with all the styling and code inside that one file. No accounts, no installs, nothing leaving my browser. The app: [describe your idea in one sentence, for example: a tip jar sign with a QR code for my gigs]. Rules: explain every step in plain English. Define each technical word the first time you use it. Keep it under 200 lines. When it works, tell me how to open it in my browser, how to change the colors myself, and one small upgrade I could try next.

Build notes
Rebuilt on Next.js, React and Framer Motion, so the navigation and every scroll transition are real motion. A shared engine still draws the share-cards, and the whole look is a handful of design tokens.
Skipped: a database and a CMS. The little tools are still just plain files.
Every app exports a 1080×1920 from one reusable function. Build it once, reuse it everywhere: the card is the marketing.
Skipped: server-side rendering. The browser draws it; nothing leaves your device.
Life in Weeks never sends your birthday anywhere. Aligned encodes its quiz state in the URL, so two people can play with zero .
Skipped: creepy tracking. I count anonymous page views and prompt copies, no cookies, no profiles, no selling. The only personal thing I store is an email you hand me on purpose.

By day I’m a YouTube strategist, deep in content and data: competitive intelligence for education channels, transcripts, market numbers. I kept building little tools to make the grind less manual, then realised creatives and creators everywhere fight the same grind.
So I started Code for Creatives India: tiny apps anyone can build with AI, no dev team, no degree. It’s for creatives and creators both. Writers, musicians, designers, comics, journalists, YouTubers. Anyone who makes and ships their own work. I learned to do this with AI doing the heavy lifting, which means the judgment of what to build matters far more than the code. I’m documenting the whole thing on Instagram.
